Nat & Andy’s Lifestyle Maternity Photos

Nat and Andy really loved the idea of part of their gallery being these classy, editorial style photos with my signature editorial style lighting and the other part a more soft, natural light lifestyle maternity photos.

My (brand new!) private studio in Downtown Ann Arbor is able to accommodate both styles of lighting to make that happen! That means that they sky is the limit for creativity there and I am loving it!

Nat and Andy wanted to include their dog in their session because—really—he is their first baby. His name is Marshall, he is an Australian Shepherd, and he was SUCH a good boy for the shoot. It is so special to me to be able to capture what is truly important for this family and above all, celebrate this time in their lives with them!

Modern, Editorial Maternity Photos

We set those natural light, lifestyle maternity photos in front of the walls and windows in my studio. Meanwhile, the editorial style shots we set up in front of both light and dark backdrops.

The combination of the elegant, editorial shots and more casual, lifestyle maternity photos come together so cohesively. As a result, we have created diversity in their final gallery without feeling separate. It gives SO many options for sharing as well as cherishing.

There is a world of individuality in what we can create even indoors at the same studio. It amazes me how each look and combination of space and lighting we can use to make each session unique.
