Vivian inquired with Sammy Mich Photos after seeing a recent Modern Editorial & Lifestyle Maternity Album feature we shared online. Her vision for her session was clear—she was longing for a  blend of lifestyle and editorial images to memorialize this beautiful chapter of her life.

After booking her session, booking her own custom photoshoot experience through our interactive form, I met with her through a Zoom meeting where we explored various backgrounds, poses, lighting, and discussed her ideas and expectations, to be sure that we transformed her vision into a breathtaking reality.

On the day of her maternity session, we pampered her with professional makeup application by one of our studio’s trusted artists and I guided her through posing for stunning shots. Our goal during every session is to ensure every client feels at ease, confident, and radiant throughout the entire process.

Vivian’s first look featured a classy and timeless black and white look. We captured most of the images in this outfit near the window where the natural light could flow in. Vivian’s husband joined for a few shots, capturing the joy and connection shared as they await the arrival of their little one.

For the second outfit, Vivian embraced a casual look in jeans and a pink shirt, subtly celebrating the anticipation of welcoming a baby girl into the world. The soft hues complemented the studio’s neutral aesthetic, creating a series of images that reflected the serenity of the moment and the bond between mother and daughter.

The third look brought a touch of formality to the session, with Vivian donning an white jeans, a white blazer, and black lace bralette. This outfit was an excellent versatile choice since her blazer made for a layer that could be added or removed to create a fresh and dynamic feel. In this outfit we really emphasized the editorial touch with a sense of glamour, transforming the maternity session into a visual masterpiece that she can cherish for years to come.

For her final outfit Vivian chose a form fitting sweater dress that allowed her  baby bump to take center stage, capturing an essence of classic sophistication during her editorial maternity session.
