An editorial style in-studio maternity photoshoot to freeze this moment.
Camille + David’s Studio Maternity Photoshoot
Camille reached out to me to plan her studio maternity photoshoot! We booked a virtual call to go over her likes, wants, and preferences to tailor the session to her and her partner, David.
She pulled some photos from my website, Instagram, and Pinterest. Inspiration photos like the ones that Camille showed me have a unique way of communicating to me the type of lighting, poses, facial expressions, and the overall vibe that we are going for with the shoot.
It is really important to me as a maternity photographer to create galleries that are unique to each of my clients and captures how this time in your life feels.
Editorial Studio Maternity Photos
Camille’s photos definitely pointed us to all things editorial. She wanted two different looks; one showing some more skin and celebrating her pregnancy body, and another more dressed up look. Her and her partner, David, showed UP!
They described their dream session as elegant and timeless. A gallery full of photos they can treasure and display in their home, long after the little one makes an appearance.
This session came and went SO smoothly. Camille and David were so positive and upbeat, and I feel like we all had a really great experience.
Luxury Michigan Maternity Photographer
I love sessions that feel like I am hanging out with my family. This couple is so down-to-earth and lovely to be around. They were open to all of my posing and lighting ideas and we just enjoyed our time moving through the studio shoot.
As a maternity photographer, I find that my clients love being able to look back on this time in their lives. Having that is so precious. Even, in the short term, a maternity photoshoot allows you to take a moment to reflect on your pregnancy. The time comes and goes and those little toes grow and grow and all of a sudden pregnancy feels so far away. Before you know it the little baby begins walking and talking and babbling all sorts of nonsense. Taking these moments and freezing them in time is priceless.
