I recently had the honor of having a return client in our Ann Arbor studio for maternity portraits. Since I’ve been fortunate enough to be there for their engagement,  wedding, and now their first pregnancy with their baby girl—this session held a special place in my heart.  Jaclynn was envisioning a high glam and fashion-inspired session creating timeless art to document  this new chapter in their life.

Bringing the Vision to Life

In order to bring her vision to life, Jaclynn opted for our Diamond Collection package, ensuring a truly indulgent and personalized experience from start to finish. This all-inclusive package offers the epitome of luxury, beginning with on-site professional hair and makeup services. Our glam team remained on-site throughout the duration of Jaclynn’s shoot, providing touch-ups to ensure she looked flawless in every frame.

During her two-hour studio portrait session, we had ample time to experiment with a variety of looks, backdrops, and settings. To ensure every detail was meticulously executed, the Diamond Collection (along with all of our other packages) included a pre-session video consultation and outfit guidance. This personalized touch ensured that Jaclynn’s session was not only seamless but also perfectly aligned with her vision and expectations.

Maternity Outfit Selections

For the first ensemble Jaclynn opted for a timeless black bodycon maxi dress—setting the stage some more elegant and formal shots, her husband also joined us for a few images in black dress pants and a white dress shirt with a subtle pattern.

Transitioning to a more casual yet equally fashionable and timeless aesthetic— her next look was jeans paired with a black bralette— set against the studio’s white backdrop creating a beautiful, editorial contrast.

But it was the use of white drapes and black backdrop that truly elevated the session to new heights. Cascading around her, they added an ethereal touch, transforming the studio into a realm of pure magic. This setup perfectly encapsulated Jaclynn’s vision for high glam and fashion-inspired images.
